Horace Clarke took over second base for the New York Yankees after Bobby Richardson retired and remained with the club until 1974. This jersey was worn by Clarke during the 1960s. In the neck of the jersey is a gray patch with "Clarke 42" embroidered in blue chain stitch, denoting the player name and size. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "New York" and on the back is the player number "20." The letters and numbers are made of blue felt. The manufacturer's label and year tags have been removed from the left front tail. The jersey shows game use and, with the exception of the removed labels, appears to have no alterations of any kind.
