During the Yankees' mini-dynasty of 1976-78, Munson was at his peak. He hit over .300 with 100 or more RBIs three years in a row (1975-77), won the MVP Award in 1976, and hit .529 in the 1976 World Series and .320 in the 1977 and 1978 World Series.This Hillerich & Bradsby model number S44 bat measures 35 inches long and weighs 31 ounces. The bat shows evidence of outstanding game use with a handle crack and a heavy coat of pine tar. The barrel displays ball hit, black ball transfer, cleat, and red/blue bat rack marks. Munson's player number "15" and Roy White's player number "6" are written on the knob end in black marker.
