During his 14 years on the mound for the New York Yankees, Ron Guidry was a three-time 20-game winner for some of the franchise's most successful teams. In 1978, Guidry helped lead the team to a World Championship with a 100-63 record, picking 25 of those wins himself to go with only three losses. Pictured here is a ball used in play during his 20th victory of that season, a ball which was collected by a ball boy and later acquired by a collector. The OAL MacPhail baseball shows nice use with toning and evident use. It was signed "Ron Guidry, New York Yankees, 1978 25-3" some time after the 78 season. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA and the ball is accompanied by additional documentation relating to the provenance.
