This 14" x 17" wood plaque features a large engraved plate with a 4-1/2" x 6" image of Elston Howard and a Mets logo and was presented to him at the New York Mets' 1970 Old Timers' Day. The plaque is engraved "Ninth Annual Oldtimers' Day / Elston Howard / In appreciation of your participation in Casey Stengel's 80th Birthday Celebration" / July 11, 1970 / Shea Stadium." The plaque has some scratches and is in excellent condition. It comes with a letter of authenticity from Howard's wife Arlene.
