Winning the American League pennant allowed the Yankees coaching staff to lead the American League team in the 1977 All-Star Game, which led to the presentation of this All-Star Game bat to Yankees coach Elston Howard. This Adirondack Big Stick bat has Howard's name engraved in the barrel with a plaque to the left of it that reads "To Commemorate the 1977 All-Star Game Yankee Stadium New York, N.Y. July 19, 1977." The bat has very few apparent flaws and grades near mint. It comes with a letter of authenticity from Howard's wife Arlene.
