A right-handed pitcher for seven Major League seasons, Sandy Consuegra had one of his best seasons in 1954 and was invited to play in that year's All-Star Game. In the collar is the "MacGregor" manufacturer's tag with the size "42." Below this is a white patch reading "Consuegra" in red chain stitch. On the inside right front tail is a flag tag reading "Set 1 1954." Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Chicago" and on the back is the player number "20." All of the letters and numbers are done in blue on red tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
