For career offensive numbers, Eddie Murray has had few peers in modern baseball and was one of the most productive and consistent hitters in baseball history. In 1996, he joined the legendary Hank Aaron and Willie Mays as the only players to amass both 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. This road knit jersey was manufactured in 1976 and worn in 1977, which was Murray's rookie year. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" label with the size "42." On the left front tail is a gray patch reading "76 Set 1" done in blue chain stitch. Above this is an autograph which rates an 8. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Orioles" in script-style letters and on the back is the player name "Murray." The player number "33" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the shirt. The letters and numbers are made of orange on black tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
