A minor league ballplayer during the 1950s, Earl Weaver never displayed the on-field talent needed for the big leagues. What he did possess, however, was a great baseball mind, and he used that to lead the Baltimore Orioles for more than 17 years. Weaver's managerial talent was recognized with his induction into baseball's Hall of Fame. On the inside right front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with the size "40." Adjacent to this is a "Set 1 1980" flag tag. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Orioles" in stylized script lettering. Below this is the number "4" which also appears on the back. Also on the back is a nameplate reading "Weaver." All of the letters and numbers are done in orange on black tackle twill. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
