Tommy Davis was the first National Leaguer to capture successive batting crowns since Stan Musial (1950-52). He was the starting leftfielder for the NL All-Stars in 1962 and paced all hitters with a .400 average in the 1963 World Series as the Dodgers swept the Yankees in four games. On the left front tail of this home flannel jersey is the "McAuliffe" label. Below this is the year tag "70" and next to this is the size tag "44." On the left breast is "A's." The player number "12" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the vest. The letters and numbers are made of green on gold tackle twill. The vest shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
