1997 saw the addition of a young outfielder named Andruw Jones to the Atlanta Braves lineup and the resulting debut of a player who would go on to become one of the finest young stars in the game today. With his slick fielding and clutch hitting, Jones has earned five consecutive Gold Gloves and a reputation as a reliable force at the plate. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's label. Adjacent to this are the size "44" and "Tapered" flag tags. Below is a white patch with the year "97" in blue stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Braves" along with the tomahawk logo done in red on blue tackle twill with blue and yellow stitch. On the back is a white nameplate reading "A.Jones" in blue tackle twill. Below this is the player number "25" in red on blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the "Jackie Robinson 50th" anniversary patch. The jersey shows good game use and is accompanied by a wristband also worn by Jones that has his number "25" embroidered on in white stitch.
