Rafael Furcal is one of the Braves' most talented young players. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag. Adjacent to this is a white patch reading "1-01" to denote set number and year, respectively. There is also a flag tag reading "100% Polyester" and the size "44." Across the front is the team name "Atlanta" with the tomahawk logo beneath. This is done in red on blue tackle twill with yellow embroidered stitch. On the back is the nameplate reading "Furcal" in blue tackle twill. Below is the player number "1" in red on blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "41" memorial patch worn following the death of Braves Hall of Famer Eddie Mathews. Above the name on the back is the American flag patch that was worn league-wide that year following September 11th. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
