Tom Seaver pitched in the Major Leagues for two decades, putting together a legendary Hall of Fame career. This jersey is from the 1981 season, in which he went 14-2 and played in his last All-Star Game. On the inside left front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag, which has been resewn, with an adjacent "Set 1 1981" flag tag. Next to this is the "Purchased from the Cincinnati Reds" team stamp. On the front of the jerey is the "Reds" team logo in white embroidered stitch on red tackle twill. Next to this is the player number "41" which also appears on the back. Also on the back is the player name "Seaver". All of the letters and numbers are done in red tackle twill. Seaver has signed the shirt on the front in blue marker rating a 9. The jersey shows game use and except for the resewn tag, appears to have no other alterations. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
