Randy Jones had a career year in 1976, winning 22 games to earn the American League Cy Young Award. That same year, he tied Christy Mathewson's record of pitching 68 consecutive innings without giving up a walk. On the left front tail is the "Designed and Tailored Exclusively" tag and below is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tag with the size "40." Next to that is a white label with the year "76" in black. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Padres" in script lettering. Below is the player number "35" which also appears on the back. Also on the back is a nameplate reading "Jones." All of the letters and numbers are done in black on yellow tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the "National League Centennial" patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
