Jerry Koosman joined the Mets in 1968 and quickly became a main cog of their pitching staff. In 1969, his second year, Koos went 17-6 for the World Championship team. Together with Tom Seaver, he was one half of a devastating lefty-righty combo. This warmup jacket was worn by Koosman later on in his Met career, circa 1977. In the collar of the jacket is the "Starter" manufacturers label with the size "XL." On the left front breast is the Mets logo. Koosman has signed the jacket below this in silver marker, with the signature rating 7 to 8. On the back of the jacket is "Koosman" embroidered in orange on white letters. There is an additional Mets logo patch on the left sleeve. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
