This is a fantastic trio of items from one of the great players of our generation. Included is a pre-game jersey with matching hat and a batting helmet. The black mesh jersey has the "Majestic Authentic Diamond Collection" tag on the left front tail with an adjacent size "50" flag tag. Across the front is the team name "Mets" and below is the player number "31," which also appears on the reverse. Also on the back is the player name "Piazza." All of the letters and numbers are done in blue on white and orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Mets" skyline logo patch. The cap is also constructed from black mesh and has the raised "NY" logo and skyline logo patch embroidered in. On the inside are the ""Authentic Collection", "New Era", and size "7 3/8" manufacturer's tags. The player number "31" is written on the inside in black marker. The batting helmet also bears the Mets "NY" logo and the player name "Piazza" in two places. The size "7 1/2" and "Diamond Collection" stickers are on the inside. All three pieces exhibit nice game use and display beautifully together.
