Whatever controversy may exist over other forms of equipment used by Sammy during 2003, there can be no doubt that the offered cap--worn during the previous season--was in no way doctored or altered. The blue and red cap has a raised Cubs "C" on the front and the "Authentic Diamond Collection", "New Era", and size "7 1/8" labels sewn onto the inside sweatband. It has been signed on the brim "Sammy Sosa #21 Game-Uses (sic) 2002" and has the "Sosa 21" hologram. The cap shows game use and the autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
