A three-time American League All-Star, George Scott's best season at the plate came in 1975 when he hit .285 with 36 home runs and 109 RBI. Scott was above average with a bat and exceptional when flashing leather in the field. In just his second season in the league, Scott won his first Gold Glove Award for his stellar play at first base for the Boston Red Sox. Sadly, the award was lost in a fire years later, but in 1995 Rawlings was kind enough to issue Scott a replacement, which is the one seen here. The award features a gold-dipped PROSC21 Rawlings Glove set at the center of a wood base, flanked by a gold-dipped baseball at both side and an engraved photo of Scott wearing his Red Sox cap below. The award grades NM-MT.
