General John Forbes helped capture Fort Pitt from the French Army but left his markings in Pittsburgh. Forbes Field was home to the Pittsburgh Pirates for 61 years. The last game there took place on June 28, 1970. This seat still has the original green paint on it but some has flaked away. The seat is in excellent condition considering the outdoor conditions and how long the chair was used.
