Fenway Park Piece of the Green Monster
One of the most storied baseball parks in the country and home to the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park has seen its share of history. With the likes of Cy Young, Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Carlton Fisk and now Pedro and Nomar having graced its playing field, Fenway is undeniably one of the most special places that baseball has left to call its own. Through the years, Fenway has undergone numerous renovation projects while retaining many of its idiosyncracies including its peculiar shape. The most recent change came before the 2003 season when a portion of the Green Monster in left field was removed in order to make room for wall-top seats. This lot offers a 100 by 23 inch piece of Fenway that was adjacent to the Green Monster and had to be removed in order to construct the current seats. It is original Fenway green and is in very good condition. Please be aware that shipping will be costly due to size and is the responsibility of the lucky winner.
