Offered here is Hall of Famer George "Highpockets" Kelly's personal invitation to attend a presidential luncheon at the White House on March 27, 1981. Included with the invitation are its original envelope with the White House's printed return address, an ID card for Kelly to present at the White House's southwest gate, and instructions for responding. All four pieces are mounted on a blue 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. The items come with a letter of provenance from Kelly's son, Walter, which pictures the items and attests to their authenticity.
