Jim "Catfish" Hunter was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1987. This clock was made to commemorate the event and affixed to the base is a small plaque engraved "National Baseball Hall of Fame 1987 Inductee Catfish Hunter." The clock stands about nine inches tall at the very tip of the triangular cover and eight inches at the widest point of the base. It is presumably in working order, with a new battery, and is in excellent condition. Originally from the estate of the late Hall of Famer.
