The 1991 season was turnaround time and with the addition of young pitchers Scott Erickson and Kevin Tapani (both won 20 games) and veteran Jack Morris, the team finished the 1991 with the best record in the American League and went on to defeat the Atlanta Braves in one of the most exciting World Series ever played. This commemorative black bat was produced by Louisville Slugger in very limited numbers to be distributed to players and team executives. It is in stunning mint condition and is surely among the finest examples available.
