This circa 1915 French advertisement for Michelin bicycle tires measures 48" x 32" and has been framed to a final size of 52" x 35.5". The top of the poster reads "Le meilleur. le moins cher" which translates to, "the best. the least expensive." There is a cartoon of the Michelin Man, made of white bicyle tires and wearing red lace up boots, riding a bicycle and smoking a cigar while pulling himself apart from the middle and flinging the white tires as if they were frisbees. Underneath the picture, and on each tire reads: "pneu vélo michelin" which means "Michelin bicycle tires." The bottom of the poster says: "DABADIE" and "CYCLES --- NOGARO" in black type. The poster is in very good condition.
