The Three Stooges, otherwise known as Larry, Curly, and Moe, stole the hearts of generation after generation with their crazy antics and slapstick comedy. Their appeal is timeless. This Western Electric scissor telephone was used in "The Three Stooges" shorts and feature presentations. This heavy and sturdy metal piece has separate mouth and ear pieces and extends up to 22" across accordian-style to accommodate more space while folding up when not in use. It has four holes in the base so that it might be screwed into a table surface. The receiver says "Western Electric USA" in raised print. With the exception of a few light scratches, the phone is in overall excellent condition It is marked "patented in USA -- JANUARY 26 1915" on the front, and comes with a certificate of authenticity from a prop house.
