One of the best stage to screen musicals was Paramount's lavish film of Li'l Abner. Al Capp's Depression-era comic strip was brought to life in this consistently underrated film version. Newcomer Peter Palmer played Li'l Abner Yokum and Leslie Parrish was Daisy Mae. Watching the film today, you'll see Jerry Lewis in a walk-on as Itchy McRabbit! Excellent condition.
