The fourth film of Elvis Presley, directed by veteran director Michael Curtiz, showed Hollywood that the young rock and roller from Memphis had real promise as an actor. But Elvis was just a few months away from a stint in the U.S. Army, and when he returned to Hollywood his growth as an actor was sacrificed to box office guarantees as he chased girls and played guitar in film after film. King Creole remains a favorite of Elvis lovers everywhere. On linen, excellent condition.
