Mark Tardif played most of his first four pro years with the Montreal Canadiens while developing into a true goal scorer. In 1973, he signed with the Los Angeles Sharks of the two-year-old World Hockey Association and it was in the WHA that he played the prime six years of his life. In the neck of the jersey is the "Cosby" label and adjacent is the size tag "48." On the front of the shirt is the WHA ironed-on emblem. On the back of the jersey is the name "Tardif" in blue tackle twill. The player number "18" appears on the back of the shirt as well as on each sleeve. The numbers are made of blue on red tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
