Drafted 15th overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, Mike Bossy began a stellar ten-year career whereby he established himself as one of the most talented snipers the game has ever seen. He became the first Islander to score 500 goals and 1000 points. On the back tail of this road mesh jersey is "Sandow SK" in white ironed-on letters. On the front of the jersey is the Islanders emblem in orange/white/blue tackle twill. The player number "22" appears on the back of the jersey as well as on each sleeve. The numbers are made of white on orange tackle twill. On the back left number "2" is an autograph and an inscription reading "Stanley Cup 80/81/82/83." The autograph rates a 9 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
