With 11,318 total yards of offense, Boston College's Doug Flutie was the NCAA's all-time leader, surpassing Jim McMahon's record. In his Heisman Trophy-winning senior year, he was 233 of 386 for 3,454 yards and 27 touchdown passes. Even more spectacular than his overall season performance, however, was the Hail Mary that Flutie threw to beat Bernie Kosar's Miami and become a college football legend in the process. This Flutie Boston College jersey dates to the early 1980s. On the left front tail is the "Champion" manufacturer's tag with the size "M" and below this is the "2" larger sleeve opening" tag. The player number "22" appears on the front, back, and each sleeve of the jersey and the player name "Flutie" appears on the back. All the letters and numbers are screened on in white. The jersey shows light game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
