Super Bowl VII had many stories besides being the biggest sports event of the year. The Miami Dolphins carried their perfect season into the Super Bowl in an attempt to be the only team to keep an undefeated year. The Washington Redskins would try to put a stop to their run, but the Dolphins' combination of running, clock control, and defense was too much as Miami completed the unthinkable by beating the favorites, Washington, 14 to 7. This football comes straight from that game and shows good game use. The score of the game and Super Bowl VII are painted in gold on the ball. The ball comes with a letter from Pat Catello.
