A running back at the University of Texas, Earl Campbell won the 1977 Heisman Trophy as the nation's outstanding college football player. Campbell set an NFL record by rushing for more than 200 yards in four different games in 1980. He eventually gained 1934 yards overall on 373 attempts for a 5.2 average and scored 13 rushing touchdowns to lead the league in all four categories. On the left front tail of this white mesh jersey is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "46." On the back of the jersey is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Campbell" in blue letters. The player number "34" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey in blue on red numbers. The letters and numbers have been ironed-on. There is an autograph on the back of the jersey which is illegible. The jersey shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
