The Boston Celtics are the greatest franchise in the history of the NBA. Their legacy was further extended during the 1980-1981 season, when Larry Bird and newcomer Kevin McHale led them to the NBA Championship. That year, Bird sunk a clutch shot at the end of Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals to earn the chance to play the Houston Rockets in the finals. Boston was victorious in their championship run once again. This ball is a team-signed ball from the 1981 season. It is rare because it is a Wilson basketball while the NBA now uses Spalding. Such players as Robert Parish, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and M.L. Carr can be found on this ball. The autographs are 7s and 8s. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
