In the late 1960s, UCLA's basketball team was at the top of the NCAA and Lucius Allen was an integral part of the team. This uniform is from that era, a time when the team won games by an average of 20 points or more. On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tag with the size "40." Across the front of the jersey is the school name "UCLA". Below is the player number "42," which also appears on the reverse. All of the letters and numbers are done in yellow on white tackle twill. Included is a matching pair of shorts. In the waistband is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's label with the size "34." The uniform shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a copy of a picture of Allen during his playing days wearing the same style uniform.
