There are few college players who can come to an NBA team and make an immediate impact. Larry Bird was one of those players, and in only his second year with the franchise, he was able to lead the Boston Celtics to their first of three NBA championships during the 1980s. On the left front tail of this road knit jersey is the Boston Celtics exclusive label and below this is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "46." Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Celtics" and on the back is the player name "Bird." The player number "33" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are made of white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with an additional letter.
