Antoine Walker was named to the 1996-97 NBA All-Rookie First Team after a brilliant season in which he averaged 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. He lead the Celtics in both categories even though he often saw playing time at center as well as his natural forward position. On the left front tail of this home mesh jersey is the "Champion" exclusive label with the year "96-97" and "Body Length +4." Next to this is the "Champion" label with the size "50." Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Celtics" and on the back is the player name "Walker." The player number "8" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are made of green tackle twill. On the upper left front is the gold "NBA" patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
