One of only three individuals in NBA history to score better than 30,000 points, Julius Erving remained a consistent and reliable player untill the end of his career, adding more than 1,000 to that total during the 1986-87 season. The jersey was made for Erving's use during the 1986-87 season and tagged only "87" as it was used during the later part of that season. On the left front tail are the "Designed and Tailored Exclusively" and size "40" "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tags. Next to these are two white labels reading "87" and "2" LB." This denotes year and two inches of extra length, respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Sixers" and below this is the player number "6," which also appears on the back. All of these letters and numbers are done in white on blue tackle twill. Also on the back is the player name "Erving" in white tackle twill. On the upper left shoulder is the NBA embroidered logo patch. The jersey shows nice use and has been signed on the front "Julius Dr. J Erving" in black marker rating a 7-8. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
