"Pistol" Pete Maravich brought his flashy offensive skills to Atlanta after being drafted by the Hawks with the third pick of the 1970 NBA Draft. The sleeves are red with white pinstripes, which are the same pattern as the jacket's trim. The Hawks logo is on the left breast and the team name "Atlanta" is on the back, both in a red on yellow tackle twill-like material. In the neck is the "Russell Southern Co" manufacturer's tag and below that is a white tag with the player name "Maravich" in black marker. The jacket comes with a letter of authenticity from the Atlanta Hawks stating that the jacket was worn by Maravich and that the Hawks wore this style form 1972-73 to 1974-75. Included with the jacket is a pair of Maravich's Hawks stirrup socks. The white socks have red and yellow striping. The jacket and socks show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
