Basketball star Wilt Chamberlain and horse-racing jockey Billy Shoemaker represent the tall and short of the athletic world. This lot includes two pieces--an autographed black and white 8" x 10" photo of Chamberlain, and a color picture of Chamberlain and Shoemaker. The photo is a headshot of Chamberlain, the bottom reading "Spalding Basketball Advisory Staff." It has been signed by Chamberlain in blue ball point pen, his signature rating an 8. The other picture is a color page taken from Memories magazine, showing Chamberlain and Shoemaker standing back to back. Although Chamberlain is barefoot, Shoemaker barely reaches his waist. This picture has been signed by Shoemaker in blue marker and Chamberlain in black Sharpie with both signatures rating 8s. The signatures come with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
