Phil Esposito was a 6'1" 210 pound center with a fantastic lefty stick. Esposito made his name with the Bruins, but he actually entered the league with the Chicago Blackhawks. After four seasons, he along with a couple of other players were traded to the Bruins, and that is when he really started to dominate. Phil is the first man in NHL history to break the "Century Mark." In the 1968-69 season he had a total of 127 points, scoring 49 goals and donating 77 assists. Before being shipped to the Rangers, Phil led the Bruins to two Stanley Cups. To follow up his 127 point season, he scored an astonishing 76 goals in only 78 games. On the front of this Tied Down jersey is the Bruins team logo patch. On the left breast is an "A" done in black on yellow tackle twill indicating Alternate Captain. On the back, and both sleeves is the player number "7" done in black, white, and yellow tackle twill. Inside the back of the collar is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions. Written in black ink on the "Wilson" tag is "52." The jersey has black shoe lace on the front collar, and the fight strap is still in tact. The jersey shows game-use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
