The 1972 Dolphins are the only team to finish a full season in the NFL undefeated. The leadership of coach Don Shula and the inspiring play of HOFers such as Czsonka and Griese elevated the play of the entire team. This circa '72 helmet is manufactured by "Wilson" with model and size reading "F-2101" and "7 1/8 - 7 1/4", respectively. On each side is a sticker logo of the Dolphin inside the sun. Down the center of the helmet are two green and one orange stripe. The rear of the helmet has the number "12" done in orange stick-on letters. Inside the name "Griese" has been written in black marker. The right half of the helmet has been signed by Griese in blue marker and rates a strong 9. The helmet shows nice wear both inside and out and comes with a letter from Pat Catello. The signature comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
