In 1988, the ACC Champion Clemson Tigers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners, 13-6. This size 11 ½ 10K Championship ring is a salesman's sample and is identical to the one presented to winning Clemson quarterback Rodney Williams. Three diamond chips have been set in a gold football affixed to the top of an orange rectangular stone, surrounded by the raised words "1988 Clemson ACC Champions. On the left shank is a raised engraved banner that reads "Williams." Beneath this is a raised gold Clemson Tigers football helmet, filled with orange enamel with white enamel Tigers logo, below which is a raised gold star with an engraved "10." On the right shank is a raised Florida Citrus Bowl logo filled with orange, yellow and green enamel, below which are two raised banners that read "Clemson" and "Oklahoma." "R5720-SZ" is engraved on the inside. This ring is in EXMT-NRMT condition.
