Halfback Paul Hornung (Hall of Fame 1986) is widely considered the key to the Green Bay Packers dynasty of the 1960s. He won the 1956 Heisman Trophy while at Notre Dame. 1961, the year of this contract, was perhaps Hornung's greatest; not only was he the NFL MVP, but while on Christmas leave from the U.S. Army he led the Packers to a 37-0 victory in the Championship game against the Giants, scoring 19 points himself. This is his 1961 contract with the Packers, paying him $18,500. It is signed by Hornung, legendary coach Vince Lombardi and then Commissioner Pete Rozelle. Comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
