Noted artist Seymour Chwast was commissioned by Coca-Cola and the Franklin Mint in 1972 to create this 17-coin collectors set that features great moments in Olympic history. The coins measure approximately 1-1/2" in diameter and appear to be made of copper or bronze. They come in a cardboard and felt display which reads "Great Olympic Moments." The front of each coin features a portrait of a medal-winning Olympian, with the reverse featuring the Olympic rings and the athlete's achievement. These coins are practically untouched, all with full original lustre. Wooden display stand is included.
