Included in this lot are Jesse Owens (Berlin, 1936), Charles Paddock (Antwerp, 1920), Nadia Comaneci (Montreal, 1976), Alvin Kraenzlein (Paris, 1900), Wilma Rudolph (Rome, 1960), Bobby Morrow (Melbourne, 1956), Bob Mathias (London, 1948), Johnny Weissmuller (Paris, 1924), Robert Garrett (Athens, 1896), Mary Lou Retton (Los Angeles, 1984), Mildred "Babe" Didriksen (Los Angeles, 1932), Betty Robinson (Amsterdam, 1928), Ray Ewry (St. Louis, 1904), Mark Spitz (Munich, 1972), Florence Griffith Joyner (Seoul, 1988), Bob Beamon (Mexico City, 1968), Bob Hayes, (Toyko, 1964), Sammy Lee (Helsinki, 1952), Jim Thorpe (Stockholm, 1912), Sebastian Coe (Moscow, 1980), Dorando Peitri (London, 1908), and Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Barcelona, 1992). Each pin features a photograph of the event, as well as the name of the participant and the location and year of the olympics. They are each in the original plastic packaging and are stapled to cards telling the story of that participant and why that was an "Olympic moment" worth remembering. All pins are in mint condition.
