On the front left tail of the jersey is a tag reading "8 81" indicating player number, and year. Across the front of the jersey is "PIRATES" done in black on white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "8" done in black on white tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is "STARGELL" done in black tackle twill on a yellow nameplate. Inside the back of the collar is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and jersey size "46." The jersey shows game-use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
