In Jason's rookie year he showed great potential, hitting a surprising .298. Inside the left front tail of the jersey is the "Majestic" manufacturer's tag. Attached is a code tag indicating "set E 2003," and a size tag "50." Across the front of the jersey is "Mets" done in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. Below that on the left side, and on the back of the jersey is "23" done in the same blue, orange, and black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Mets" logo patch. Below that is a "Majestic" logo tag. Across the back of the jersey is "PHILLIPS" done in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. Above that is the official "MLB" logo patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
