Despite Sammy Sosa's 66 homeruns in the storied 1998 season, Mark McGwire took the crown with 70. Sosa however, still took the N.L. MVP for his outstanding play. With over 500 four-baggers to his name, Sosa is a sure shot for the Hall of Fame when he retires. This is a New Era size seven Chicago Cubs baseball cap, blue with red "C" stitched on the front, worn by Sammy Sosa during the 2003 season, when he managed to belt another 40 homers. There is tremendous wear and perspiration staining on the interior, with "21" written in black marker. The exterior shows some dirt and wear. With a letter from the Cubs, this piece of history has impeccable provenance.
