In 21 seasons, HOFer George Brett hit .305 with 317 home runs. Brett started his career with Kansas City in 1973, and ended it with them in 1993. In 1980 he hit a ludicrous .390 for the year, and was named the AL MVP. On the front left tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and jersey size "42" on it. Below that is a year tag reading "84." Across the front of the jersey is "Royals." Below that and on the back is the player number "5." Across the back of the jersey is "BRETT." All lettering and numbering is done in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "KCR" logo patch. The lot comes with a Sports Illustrated magazine with Brett on the cover wearing the featured jersey. The jersey shows game-use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind. This lot comes with an additional LOA.
