The 1997 AL MVP, Ken Griffey Jr. became the second youngest player in history to hit 300 homeruns. Surpassing 500 homeruns in 2004, he is well on his way to the Hall of Fame. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "46" and below is the year tag "1998." Next to this is the "2" Extra Body Length" label. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Mariners" in blue tackle twill on a teal/silver backing. On the back is a white nameplate with the name "Griffey" and below this is the player number "24." Both the name and number are made of blue on teal tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Seattle Mariners" patch and on the back is a blue Sharpie autograph that rates a strong 8. The jersey is accompanied by a certificate signed by Griffey. It shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
