During McDonald's three varsity years the Sooners never lost a game and won two national championships. In 1957 he was voted the nation's Most Outstanding Player. Inside the left tail of this cotton tear-away jersey is the MagGregor manufacturer’s tag with size “44” and a wash tag below. On the front and back is the player number "25" in white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an additional LOA from the man who received the jersey in Norman, Oklahoma directly from Coach Wilkinson (McDonald's College Coach) - copy of letter included for your perusal, which is well worth the read.
